Caliber .45 ACP, Barrel 5” Manufactured in 1969. This standard pre -series 70 Colt commercial Model 1911 A-1 retains nearly all of its original high polish factory blue with a fine bore and action and some light muzzle wear. The original plastic “Colt-wood” grips have been replaced with a pair of walnut pre-war style checkered slabs(much stronger and infinitely more appealing).
