This rifle remains in as new condition both inside and out. Barrel is stamped “R.A. 9-43” with the ordinance bomb. The receiver bridge is stamped “U.S. Remington Model O3A3”. Gun sports all original military finish that includes blued barrel bands, trigger guard, and checkered butt plate with blued bolt and rear sight. Green phosphate military finish on barrel and receiver. Walnut stock has the original “FJA” inspector stamp for Frank Atwood. Along with the ordinance wheel and the “RA” Raritan Arsenal stamp as well as “O.G.” on the left side of stock. The RA and OG stamp indicate rifle was inspected post WWII.
