A classic german doll manufacutered from the late 1800`s thru the earlier part of the 20th century. This particular example is mkd on the back of the bisque head Armand Marseille 390. Perhaps, along with its kid bodied counterpart the 370 model, was the most prolifically produced doll during that time period! Affixed to a composition body(typical wear & a finger replaced on each hand)the nicely painted bisque head has brown glass sleep eyes. Dressed in a newer cream colored wool sailor outfit with a replacement blonde mohair wig. Bisque head appears to be free of hairlines, cheek rubs, eye chips etc.
Item Dimensions: 22-1/4'' T.
