Circa 1860s. This set was published by Kimmel and Forster. The 7-inch, light cardboard doll and her children are pictured on the box cover. Each child has four playtime outfits that represent pastimes of the period - jumping rope, ice skating and kite flying. The lady's five period outfits include a riding costume, and day and evening wear. One gown has the intricacy of court attire. Two shawls and two headdresses are accessory pieces. This set is in fine condition. Only the box lid remains.
