24" barrel in caliber .30-06. Barrel is dated 1-43 and stamped "RA" with bomb. This is a typical World War II Model 1903-A3. It has the green tint parkerized military finish. 85-90% remains on frame, barrel, and forend. The front pressed band retains 50% blue. Rear pressed band is green parkerized. Front sight has had a Lyman tube target sight added in slot. Military rear sight replaced with Lyman fine adjustment receiver sight. Excellent straight grip stock of the period. Left side is stamped "RA" for Remington with Ordnance bomb and "F.J.A." (faint). Block "P" with no circle on wrist. Checkered buttplate with smooth trap. Has an "OG" (Ogden Arsenal) rebuild stamp on left side of stock. Floor plate is a milled version and is basically grey patina. Reproduction sling. 1918 RIA bayonet with sheath. ME reading of 2 with a very good bore. Swept handle.
