Caliber .22 long rifle, Barrel length is 5”. This semi -automatic pistol was manufactured in 1937 and is a full size version of the Colt Model 1911-A1, chambered for the .22 cartridge. Standard features include blue finish with adjustable rear sight. This pistol has been customized with the following features: king barrel bushing, barrel is jeweled within the ejection port, micro rear adjustable rear sight, jeweled smooth long pull trigger, stippled front strap, original checkered arched main spring housing, checkered slide stop, checkered safety and the jeweled checkered short wide spur hammer. Later era Colt gold medallion, checkered walnut grips. Magazine stamped “Colt Cal. 22 L.R”. Gun retains 98% of the expertly re-applied blued finish. As new mint bore and perfect action. Nice custom pre-war Ace.
