This is a .32 caliber Winchester special with a 24’’ barrel. In 1981, Winchester manufactured 2000 rifles for the Centennial of the Canadian Pacific Railroad 1881 - 1981. Special rifle features a 24’’ round barrel with the 2/3 magazine with blued finish. Other features include: sporting sights, walnut oil finished stock, crescent blued rifle butt plate. satin nickel finish, framed lever. For-end cap and magazine cap. The frame is beautifully edged with scroll work and a Canadian specific motif. In lieu of the usual stock coin on the right side of the butt stock it is branded “CPR”. Gun appears unfired in the original box with all paper work. The box has full color sleeve that is in great condition with light staining and edge ware. A very handsome, low production commemorative rifle.
