Caliber .44 percussion, Barrel length 8”. Referred to as the Remington new model Army revolver, manufactured 1863-1875. This is a U.S. issue that bears the “W” government stamps. Smooth walnut grips with visible but not readable cartouche on left panel. Standard features: octagon barrel, post front sight, fixed rear, blued finish, six shot, single action with brass trigger guard. The barrel has traces of blue softening, balance of metal is light brown patina. Grips are very good, chip on left panel. Action is perfect, strong bore with usual black powder abrasion. Clean all original Army revolver.
