Barrel length 30", .32-20 caliber. This Special Order Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle was manufactured in 1889. It is basically a standard model with the exception of the scarce Special Order 30" full octagon barrel and full magazine. Standard features include: blued finish, standard sporting sights, walnut stocks, rifle butt plate. Barrel and tube retain approximately 70% original high polish factory blued finish, with sharp edges and legends. Frame retains flashes of blue with the balance a pleasing gun metal patina. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks. Strong rifled bore with the usual black powder abrasion. Mechanically perfect. Extremely handsome and clean long barrel 1873
