Caliber .45 ACP/Auto-Rim, Barrel length 5-1/2”. 25,000 Model 1917s were made for the Brazilian government and were stamped with the Brazilian crest bearing the date of 1937. Other than the crest, this revolver is a standard commercial Model 1917. This revolver dates to the first shipment in 1937. Standard features: six shot, double action, fixed sights, blued finish with case colored hammer and trigger. The smooth walnut grips are numbered to gun on the right panel. There are no import stamps on this gun. Revolver retains approximately 93% original factory blue with minor muzzle, high edge wear and light drag line. Grips are excellent with the usual minor abrasions. Perfect action, bore is near mint. This is an extremely fine condition example of a firearm that usual surfaces in less than fine condition.
