Caliber .45 ACP/Auto-rim, Barrel length 5-1/2”. 25,000 Model 1917 were made for the Brazilian government and were stamped with the Brazilian crest bearing the date of 1937. Other than the crest, this revolver is a standard commercial Model 1917. This revolver dates to the first shipment in 1937. Standard features: six shot, double action, fixed sights, blued finish with case colored hammer and trigger. The smooth walnut grips are numbered to gun on the right panel. There is an import stamp under the barrel. Revolvers retains approximately 70% original factory blue with minor nicks and mixing with brown patina. Grips are excellent with the usual minor abrasions. Perfect action, bore is near mint.
