Caliber .32-20 WCF, Barrel length 5”. Manufactured 1909-1915. This is referred to as the third change. Built on the K frame. Square butt, five screw, According to the “Standard Catalog of S&W” the 5” barrel was not offered until the fourth change at serial #65701, but the barrel markings on this gun is correct and no signs of being changed. Standard features, six shot, double action, fixed sights, blued finish, case colored hammer and trigger with pre war gold medallion diamond checkered grips (grips are not numbered). As to condition this revol has seen wear, retains appro 70% blue mixing with patina. Grips are very good with no cracks or chips. Checkering shows some wear. The fit is excellent. There is a plug at butt taking out the last digit of the serial number. Action perfect, strong clean bore.
