Caliber .40-60 WCF, Barrel length 28”. The Whitney Kenney lever action repeating rifles were manufactured 1879-1886. Amongst the most desirable are the large, heavy frame, big caliber examples. Offered rifle is an all original honest un-messed with 40 cal. Features: full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, walnut stocks, rifle butt. All factory legends are sharp. Metal surfaces are a clean smooth brown patina with razor sharp edges, near perfect screws, excellent stocks, proud to metal with the usual minor abrasions. Strong clean bore, fine action. Far above average, all original, early Whiney large frame repeater.
