(A) U.S. Model 1850 foot officer's sword. Has a weak etched blade with eagle motif, has a shark skin grip with brass wire wrap and original washer. Manufactured by Ames. Has a black enamel metal scabbard that is missing the top of the throat. Blade measures 30", total length is 36".(B) Model 1840 Import with Solingen blade stamped RNC. Overall patina with brass hand guard and pommel, has an excellent buffed washer and iron scabbard. 35" blade, 40 - 1/2" overall.(C) 1840 U.S. Artillery Sabre. The blade is clean but has been re stamped. Has a brass D yard, leather washer, leather grip with wire wrap, scabbard is iron and re-nickled and has two rings. Blade is 32 - 1/4", overall is 37 - 3/4".
