A seldom seen example of a mulatto bebe attributed to the Jumeau firm. On a fully jointed unmarked composition body with only a “6” mkd on the rear of the bisque head. Amber paperweight eyes, open mouth with upper teeth, softly colored bisque it appears she retains her original mohair wig(tightly glued to head) which is cropped short adding to her appeal. Body retains original finish( some flaking to left hand) which matches nicely with her complexion. As is sometimes typical with black & mulatto bisque dolls the painted features have worn slightly including brows, lashes & lips. Redressed in a newer French style red bebe outfit but she is still quite pleasant. Bisque head appears to be free of hairlines, eye chips, cheek rubs, etc.
Item Dimensions: 16" T.
