Caliber .38-40 Hepburn, Barrel length 28”. The Hepburn rifle was patented in 1879, manufactured until 1907. Rifle features: full octagon barrel, retains virtually all of the expertly re-applied blue finish, Frame retains 98% of the re-applied blued finish (should be case colored). Barrel has the original sporting rear sight and globe front sight. Sharp barrel legends and barrel sports two blocks for tube scope. Also sports an original tang sight. Excellent original walnut stock with checkered pistol grip. Stocks have not been refinished and retains sharp checkering. Fine near mint bore, perfect action. Comes with numerous reloading accessories, cases and bullets. Should be a fine shooter with the addition of a tube scope and color case receiver, would be a beautiful rifle.
