This lot consists of three Steiff field and forest animals. The first is Steiff's 35 cm Roebuck. He is unjointed and made from lovely wool plush. He is beautifully airbrushed with golden brown highlights. He also has highlight detailing on his legs, body, and face. He has fabulous, poseable felt antlers. He has black button eyes and a black hand embroidered nose and mouth. His snout is highlighted with a tiny bit of red accent. This pattern was made from 1949 through 1953 in this size only. The second is a lovely medium sized early postwar fox. He is 14 cm, standing, head jointed, and made from tan mohair detailed with copper colored airbrushing. He has a black hand embroidered mouth and nose and brown and black glass pupil eyes. Fox was made in 10, 14, and 17 cm from 1949 through 1957. The third a 50 cm woven fur Minky Weasel. He is unjointed and standing on all fours. He has a long floppy tail, felt ears, and oversized black button eyes. He was produced in this size only from 1969-1972. Condition: As noted. Fox with light playwear. Roebock retains his Steiff button and traces of the US Zone tag. Fox has his chest tag, and Minky is complete with all IDs. All are original and in good to excellent condition.
