This lot consists of two sweet items that look especially appealing when displayed with antique dolls. The first is a Steiff Irish Terrier. He is about 28 cm tall, sitting, and unjointed. He is made from dark blonde mohair. His forward facing ears are lined in felt. His charming face is detailed with replaced but period black shoebutton eyes and a black hand embroidered nose and mouth. His claws are also hand embroidered in black. This model was produced in four sizes ranging from 17 to 35 cm from 1912-1929; his proportions, ID, and construction suggest he was made at the early end of this timeline. The second item is a working 20 cm fully jointed blonde mohair "tail moves head" Teddy bear, most likely made by Schuco. He has brown and black glass pupil eyes and black embroidered facial features. Ted has felt paw pads with light losses, black claws, and a most pensive facial expression. He most likely dates from the 1950's. Condition: As noted. Both in good to very good condition with light playwear and losses commensurate with age.

Item Dimensions: Largest : 11" T.
