Gold-finished small sword having an etched 30" straight blade of ovoid section. Etched with floral scrolls and arms panoplies. Ricasso marked: Dege & Sons/13 Conduit St./London W. Clamshell guard with beaded border, floral scrolls. Straight crossguard. Beaded knuckle-bow. One-piece grip of rectangular section with beaded corners. Flattened urn pommel with beaded adornment. Gold bullion cordage sword knot with fringed drop. Contained in black leather scabbard with gold-finished and line inscribed mounts. Belt stud. Sword showing wear. Scabbard with age wear and frosting of finish.
