Having a curved 32" 17th century steel blade with three narrow and one wide fuller. Sides of blade engraved with moon, sun, stars and rampant animal motifs. Ricasso area engraved with floral scroll motifs. Rear of back edge with engraved linear motifs and illegible cartouche. Stirrup hilt of thin, silver-plated brass, pierced with triangle and diamond forms. Ivory grip of rectangular section, carved with linear lines. Octagonal pommel. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with minor dents and dark age patina. Grip with minor cracks and age patina.
