The sword with curved 32-1/4" blade with single wide fuller and with etched panels featuring a riband with legend: WATERLOO, bust of a bull surmounted on a crown and initials PN, all surrounded by a floral wreath. Standard form steel crossguard with smooth ovoid terminals. Ivory grip scales held in place by two steel rivets with brass collars. Pommel with sword knot hole. Brass liner. Sold with associated gold and silver wire bullion fringed sword knot. Contained in original steel scabbard with one of two (one missing) ring mounts. Blade, crossguard and scabbard showing heavy wear. Grip with crack on right side. Scabbard with dents.
