With IDs. A charming grouping of some of Steiff's most famous legacy style patterns. The first item is a Steiff's updated 16" tall "Original Teddy bear," produced as an unlimited edition in the early 1990's. He is fully jointed, has an expressive face, felt paw pads, and is made from light blonde mohair. He retains his button, yellow ear tag, and chest tag as his IDs. The second bear is Steiff's 11" 1909 replica Teddy bear, made as a yellow tag edition in the mid-1980's. He is fully jointed, wears a red ribbon, and is made from honey blonde mohair. His pads are made from tan colored felt; one is signed by Hans Otto Steiff. He retains his button and yellow ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The third bear is the company's 12.5" Dylan Spring bear, produced as part of a series of four seasonal bears for the Danbury Mint. This yellow tagged series was produced in an open edition size. The bear is fully joined, wears a large green ribbon and carries a bouquet, and is made from thick dark blonde mohair. He originally came with a small Steiff chick, but that has been lost to time. He retains his button and ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The fourth item is an 8" grey felt elephant on wheels. He wears a red felt blanket and has white felt tusks. He was produced as an exclusive for the Steiff Club in 1997; this example is number 2,977. He has slight losses to the felt on his back thigh. He retains his button, ear tag, and porcelain medallion as his IDs. Condition: As detailed. No packaging and documentation as noted. Condition ranges from very good to like new. Provenance: From a fine California collection.
