This lot consists of three blonde mohair Steiff bears that would be wonderful additions to any growing Steiff hug. The first bear is the large, impressive, and highly sought after 21" tall Steiff Henderson, produced as an exclusive for Teddy Bears of Whitney in the UK in an edition size of 2,000 in 1997. This is number 777. The bear is fully jointed, wears a proper plaid bow tie, and is made from fabulous long dark blonde mohair. His pads, which have very minor surface wear and dings, are amde from tan felt. He retains his button and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The second bear is an 11" tall Steiff Scottish Bear, produced as an exclusive for Great Britain in an edition size of 3,000 in 2000. This is number 1516. He is fully jointed, wears a matching plaid scarf and hat, and is made from dark blonde mohair. His pads, which have very minor surface wear and dings, are made from a brown-mustard colored felt. He retains his button and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The third bear is the company's adorable 13" tall Teddy Bear Sailor, produced as an unlimited yellow tag edition for a few years in the late 1990's. The bear is fully jointed, wears a two-piece sailor's suit and matching cap, and is made from soft blonde mohair. He retains his yellow ear tag, button, and split style chest tag as his Steiff IDs. Condition: As detailed. No packaging and documentation as noted. Condition ranges from very good to like new. Provenance: From a fine California collection.
