Musket features no U.S. markings. Militia style musket probably state of Connecticut Militia contract. Replacement ramrod. .75 caliber with a 41-3/4” barrel. Musket manufactured in New Haven by one of the most famous inventors in American history, Eli Whitney. These muskets were patterned after U.S. militia muskets often provided to various states. This is a superb untouched all original example. Beautiful smooth patina on metal. Stock is excellent with no cracks or damage of any kind. All original patina, never cleaned. One of the finest examples of this rifle we have offered for sale.
