Having a 29-3/8" slightly curved blade with one narrow and one wide fuller. Blade etched with scrolls, anchors and arms panoplies. Similar in design to the U.S. 1852 Staff and Field Officer’s Sword. Ricasso stamped with a knight’s head. Brass guard pierced with scrolls, crown and anchors. Flowered oval pommel. Wire-wrapped ivory grip. Back strap engraved: C D. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with wear, bends and age patina. Grip missing center wire-wrap and one chip present.
