Caliber .36 cal with a 4" octagon barrel. Manufactured in Newark, NJ. It is a six shot, distinctive 12 cylinder notches, very early and single low digit serial number which was manufactured in 1859. Top barrel legend partially obscured, all metal surfaces are gray - blue mix, brass trigger guard and back strap, grips are replacements that do not fit tightly, cylinder index is fine. Strong rifle bore and side plate screws are also replaced.
