5" barrel in caliber .45 ACP. The slide on this pistol is number 8224, right side is stamped with the Brazilian Crest dated 1940. Colt patents on left side of slide. The frame is a replacement not original to gun, and the barrel is blued, stamped "SP" on left lug. Has a fine bore. Has the brown checkered composite Keyes type grips. No star. Has a serrated slide stop, safety, hammer, with arched main spring housing. Magazine is stamped, "Colt .45 Auto".
