4’’ barrel in caliber 9mm. Manufactured by DWM for the German army and referred to as the Model 1914 and manufactured from 1914 - 1918. This example is dated 1916 on the front receiver bridge. This is in extremely fine original condition and very difficult to find any example made this early in the war in such great condition. This pistol has all matching numbers to include both checkered walnut grip panels and the wood bottom magazine. Still retaining at least 90% original factory blue finish with lovely straw colors on sides of trigger, extractor, take down, and magazine release and safety. Fine bore and action. Any all -matching mid-World War I high condition Luger is a collector’s prize.
