This complete kit was manufactured by Erma to allow the conversion of the standard M98 rifle to utilize the .22 caliber cartridge for training purpose. Features the complete bolt and barrel liner that is stamped "Erma" on the bridge, with four Waffenamt stamps on left side. The bolt is stamped "723" with Waffenamt. Bolt retracting latch is stamped "23" to match the bolt. The barrel liner is stamped "107" with Waffenamt stamp. Mint bore. Comes with two original magazines, one is stamped "Erma Erfurt 1938", the other is stamped "Erma" with Waffenamt. Trigger guard is stamped "Erma Erfurt 1938" and is numbered "723". Is in near mint condition, retains most of the original blue finish. Comes in original fitted wood box.
