4” barrel in caliber 9mm. Manufactured by Mauser for the German military from 1936 - 1940, this pistol is dated 1937 on front receiver bridge. Standard blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Grip panel stamped with letter D. Has all matching numbers on metal parts to include the matching aluminum bottom magazine with blued body. Waffenamt stamp 63 on magazine. Grips are very good some finish added. Thumbprint-sized dent on right panel. Frame has three Waffenamt stamps along with 63. Has a Waffenamt on right side of panel. Grip straps have turned grey patina. Gun retains 95% blue. Stamped S42 on toggle. Fine bore and action. Comes in an original brown holster dated 1937 with Waffenamt WaA387 manufactured in Berlin by Gensehow & Co. No tools or extra magazines. This is a later salt blued version with no straw colors.
