19.7” barrel in caliber 9x56mm. Manufactured in 1905. This full-length carbine features double set triggers, butter knife bolt, and full-length checkered walnut stock with pistol grip. Has a set of Paul Jaeger quick release mounts (no scope). Bridge is stamped “patent Mannlicher Schoenauer M1905”. The rear sight bridge slot has sight removed. Sports ramp front sight (no hood). Early models were not configured for front sight hood. Blued metal nose cap, and sling swivels in for-end and butt. Features checkering on for-end and pistol grip with small rollover cheek piece and serrated metal butt plate with trapdoor. Retains approximately 95% original factory blue on barrel and frame. Two filled scope mount holes on receiver bridge. Stock is very good to excellent with usual dings but no cracks. Bottom of stock is numbered 3480. Floor plate and trigger guard retain approximately 80% original factory blue finish. Fine bore and action. Nice early full stock carbine.
