12 bore with 30’’ barrels. Left barrel is choked full, right barrel is choked improved. Mirror bores. Features full matted rib, single bead sight, single selective trigger, and Damascus twist steel. All matching numbers. Has a 13-1/2” LOP. This is an early “I” grade. Side plate hammerless. No ejectors. Made in 1901. Approximately 2,500 were made in 1901 - 1907. Side plates are stamped “Lefever Arms Company.” Barrels are basically grey patina. There is one small dent at the bottom of the left barrel, but are otherwise perfect. Lock up tight with no wiggle. Side plates have 65% case colors. Checkered walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips. Far above average early Lefever.
