Curved 33" blade with wide fuller. Fire-blue on blade with gold-washed panels, featuring arms panoplies and fleur-de-lis crest. Left side with legend: F.C. Wilms. Left ricasso marked: Solingen, 1844. Right ricasso marked: P. Knecht. Plain, gilt, three-bar guard with integral languets. Oval pommel with ball finial. Wire-wrapped ribbed grip. Contained in plain steel scabbard. Two ring mounts. Blade showing wear and spotting. Hilt with wear and patina. Scabbard with wear and rust spotting.
