With scabbard. Having a 27-1/2" curved Klingenthal blade with one narrow and one wide fuller. Lower portion of blade with fire-blued finish and gold-washed panels featuring a rooster above flags and banner reading: LIBERTE and wreaths. Left side with legend reading: ORDRE PUBLIC. Right side: GARDE NATIONALE. Left ricasso marked: a Klingenthal. Two-bar guard, oval pommel and wire-wrapped grip. Contained in black leather-covered scabbard with three mounts, the top two with rings. Blade showing wear and scattered pitting. Hilt with light age wear. Scabbard intact but showing flaking and wear overall.
