23-1/2" barrel in caliber .30-06. This rifle was made by Springfield March-June 1945. Barrel is dated 3-45 and is stamped "8 SA". Has the type four rear sight replacement. Op-rod is stamped "N.M." for National Match. Drawing number is D28287-19SA and heat lot A-4 with diamond. Metal retains 95% of the original military style green parkerized finish. Stocks are excellent. Block "P" in wrist. Trapdoor does not fit wood. No visible cartouche on left side of stock. ME reading of 1.5 with a shiny bore. Checkered buttplate with trapdoor. Comes with a green canvas sling. Typical rebuild.
