25" barrel in caliber .303 British. Bolt is stamped "M3493". Standard rifle manufactured in 1940. Has two piece stock with two piece handguard. Metal disc on right side with brass buttplate. Standard military sights. Numerous inspector stamps on wood and metal. Metal is a mix of blue and brown patina. Walnut stocks are excellent with usual war dings. Fine bore and action.
