24” barrel in 7.92x57mm caliber. Offered is a byf45 manufactured at the Mauser-Werke. Serial number stamped on left side of receiver, bolt, safety, and forward barrel band. Right side of stock is stamped with “H”. Floorplate and trigger plate are stamped “byf”. Waffenamt stamp on barrel, frame, and plate. Barrel is stamped “44N208”. Has the laminated stock with cupped aluminum butt plate. No disc. Military rear sight with Waffenamt stamp. This late-war rifle remains in excellent condition retaining much of the war-time finish. Strong bore and action. Excellent stocks with very few marks.
