24” barrel in .22 long caliber. Manufactured in 1892. Features a full octagon barrel, full magazine, standard sporting sights, walnut stocks, with rifle butt plate. Sharp legends on frame and barrel, all metal surfaces are a smooth and pleasing brown patina, right side plate looks to be replaced, traces of case colors on hammer. Wood is excellent and proud to metal, with no cracks in butt stock but hairline crack on left side of for-end. Very good rifled bore. Fine action. Nice honest and scarce .22 caliber Model 1873 rifle.
