4-1/2” barrel in .38 LC caliber. This revolver was manufactured in 1903. Features blued barrel, cylinder, back strap and trigger guard, with case colored hammer and frame. Has near mint Colt logo black composite grips, barrel and cylinder retain approximately 60% original factory blue with thinning and patina with light age freckling. Frame retains traces of case colors but basically patterned out. Fine fire blue on back of hammer, most screws still retain generous amounts of fire blue. Has a strong clean bore, action works fine both single and double. Comes in an old partitioned box with a full box of .38 short cartridges. Cartridge box is open and has two labels.
