With scabbard. Having a straight 30" blade of triangular section, the lower portion showing inscribed panels. Clamshell guard with relief eagle, flanked by laurel and oak leaves in a wreath. Hilt with relief knuckle-bow, having a lion head and floral scrolls. Ovoid pommel with relief heads of warriors and lion with a filigree finial. Pearl grip scales with grooved border. Contained in leather scabbard with single mount at top. Leafy and floral belt stud. Blade showing modest wear and pitting. Hilt with age wear and patina. Scabbard missing lower portion, showing wear and checking to existing leather. Mount showing wear and looseness.
