25-1/2" barrel in caliber 7.7mm Japanese. Manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal. Inverted V front sight with guards, two screw front barrel band, blued cleaning rod, monopod type rear barrel band with no attachment, adjustable peep rear sight to 1,500 meters with anti-aircraft wings, full royal mum with 'Type 99' characters, two piece buttstock with full length handguard, plum shaped bolt handle knob, knurled safety with grooved indicator, two screw rear sling swivel, cupped edge sheet metal buttplate, and matching numbers. Wood is very good to excellent. Metal is a nice mix of blue-brown patina. Fine bore and action.
