24” barrel in 7.92x57mm caliber. The receiver bridge has the BCD factory code of Wilhelm-Gustloff-Werke Weimar, Germany. Matching numbers on bolt, safety, bolt release, front band, trigger guard, and floorplate. Barrel is stamped “AVK80”. Has the 2,000 meter rear sight, hooded front sight, aluminum cupped butt plate, laminated stock, and original leather sling. Stock is in excellent condition with Waffenamt stamp at base but not numbered. Gun retains approximately 75-80% original war-time factory blue finish. This model lacks the bayonet lug normally found on late-war production rifles, but the front band is numbered to the gun and proper for this feature. Waffenamt stamp can be found on left side of barrel and frame as well. Extremely fine Nazi marked Mauser.
