All canteens date to World War II. Five has the wool or corduroy covers. Two have wood finished bodies, one of which is dated 1945, complete with straps and cups. One wool covered still has the belt hook and shoulder strap. One has the belt hook and leather accessories and is wrapped in corduroy. The last three have varying colors of wool with their original belt hooks and cups.
