The highlight of this lot is the World War I doughboy helmet with the original liner in strap. The name “Nagel” is painted inside. Has the colorful hand painted 2nd Division Indian head in a star with a projectile. There is a small personals trunk with the Indian star logo and unit number painted on lid. Has a leather handle and period replaced lock. Within the locker are two books on the 2nd Division, which were part of the AEF and fought in France 1917/18, along with 16 copies of “The Indian” which was published biweekly by the 2nd Division, with different stories. Published mostly 1918/19. Also includes a 1929 souvenir program from Frankfurt, Pennsylvania Military Pageant.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
