5” barrel in .45 ACP caliber. This Colt was manufactured in 1942. Basis was a standard military model that has United States proper stamp and WB inspected. It has an earlier checkered short wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, checkered main spring housing with lanyard and short checkered trigger. This pistol retains 98% of the re-applied high polish blued finish, legends are fine, grips are a Keyes type brown checkered composite, very good bore and action.
