4” barrel in 9mm caliber. Pistol was manufactured at the Erfurt arsenal in 1916. Part of the 1914 military contract that was manufactured in 1914-1918. It has all matching numbers including grip panels with the exception of the wood bottom magazine which is numbered to another gun. Barrel has some age freckling, side plate and rails has high edge wear. Grip straps are a blue brown patina, nice straw colors on small parts. Balance of pistol retains approximately 80% original blue. Nice example of a mid-World War I German P-08.
