5" barrel in .38 caliber. Throughout the 1930s and World War II the Enfield Arsenal manufactured this double action revolver mainly for use by officers and artillery men as a safety line. Has the pre-1942 military brushed blue finish. Manufacturing date is stamped on the right side. Checkered walnut grips with a lanyard ring. Grips are worn but not cracked. Revolver retains 85% of the original factory finish. Fine bore and action. An interesting aside is that it has Middle Eastern Sanskrit stamp on top right of frame. All matching numbers.
