5” barrel in .38 caliber. This revolver was made for the British military, concurrent to the Enfield. They have a finer, more commercial finish than the Enfield, and while internally different, they are externally very similar. It is a side lever release, top-break, six shot, double action, with Webley black composite grips, blued finish, and lanyard ring. Stamped “Webley & Scott Birmingham” on top strap. Matching numbers on barrel and cylinder. Back strap has a unit stamp SPF533. Green paint on bottom of grip. Fine bore and action. Retains approximately 90% original factory blue finish. This was a mainstay revolver during the Second World War for British officers and those operating artillery and machine guns.
