32” barrel in 10 bore. Typical of the late 19th century mail order shotguns. This double hammer, double trigger, side plate model is stamped “The Continental”. Right side plate is patented June 1883. Side plates feature fine line engraving. Has all matching numbers. Barrels are manufactured with twist steel. Single bead sight. Bores have black powder erosion. Barrels have play and do not face. Has walnut stock, round knob, checkering worn, butt plate missing. All metal is gray patina. Has a splinter fore-end. No repairs to barrels. Does have a couple of minor dents. In working order. Would be a great candidate for restoration as 10 bores are tough.
