The first gun is an American Standard Tool tip-up single shot, single action, spur trigger, brass frame, and square butt. The revolver was patterned after the Smith & Wesson No. 1-1/2. Sharp legends. Cylinder and barrel are a smooth brown patina. Cylinder has excellent Indian fight panel scene. Traces of plating on brass frame. Near mint grips. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. The second gun is an early pin-fire patterned after the Lefaucheux system, .36 bore, six shot, double action. No maker stamp, probably Belgium. 4” octagon barrel and walnut grips. All metal is a smooth gun metal patina. Grips are excellent. Action is sticky. Cylinder does not advance. These revolvers were popular in the Civil War, especially in the South.
